Middle European theatre and circus meeting
Second edition
of Middle European theatre and circus meeting follows the main ideas
of the project that is to establish the place where many different people
from Central Europe going to exchange experiences and contacts with
other enthusiasts and professionals in theatre and circus.
We want to gather all the people busy with physical theatre and circus
in middle Europe. We would like to show variety and possibilities to
work with body and objects. Poland has a very strong theatre tradition
and there are many interesting theatres working with body and physics
as a form of expression. Somehow we sense that we could combine theatre
with circus art, the festival will be a try of that idea

ChildrEn WorkshopS:
We also give opportunity to children to came and take part in our festival. Last year children workshop was very successful. We want to continue this subject and developed the idea of spending active time by children together with their parents, who are busy at work most of their weekday time.
ORGaniZation of the WorK:
The idea of the festival is that participants will take some responsibility of how the hole festival is running. We expect that there will be group of people interested in volunteering during the event to help us organise well managed and safe place for practice, work and enjoyment. More experience artist will take responsibility to teach others skills, techniques, tricks... Everyone can lead the workshop by placing info (theme, time, place) on a main board, where the members of the festival can see it.
GenErAL PlAn of Event:
On the first day
except of workshops will take place open stage, where artists can present
ready circus routines, parts of their shows, theatrical etudes, dance
etc. or simply try to play for the public.
Next day as well as previous we plan to start with workshops session
and finish with Gala-show in BIG TOP where professional artists: actors,
showmen, jugglers, acrobats, mimes, clowns will perform. Spectacle will
be open to the public from outside of the festival.
The last day will include Juggling Olympics (manual-group games, contests
from spontaneously created teems). Afterwards the parade will move across
the town to the centre where street performances will take place. We
will have a tent with activities for children, and for this workshop
the entry will be free.
This day there will be special presentation of children that took part
in kids workshop during the festival and their parents. There will be
also performances for kids especially.

the festival camp there will be a camping side for all the people that

Duo Trapeze: Shapes (Jenny Patschovsky & Meike Krämer) A trapeze, some pushing electronic sound and two creatures, moving fluidly together. Precise shapes and perfect symmetries end up in a powerful dynamic performance. The unusual variety of falling and catching makes tension increase immensely.
Acrobalans: The Tourist (Daniel Patschovsky, Florian Patschovsky & Meike Krämer) A lost and frightened tourist comes across with two bored kids. They start an acrobatic cat-and-mouse-game with the confused stranger. The exciting game causes amazing hand-stand acrobatics and various funny situations.

Idee:
Das zweite mitteleuropäische Theater and Zirkustreffen will einen Raum schaffen, wo sich viele verschiedene Menschen aus Europa treffen und sich austauschen können über ihre Erfahrungen, Kontakte und Fertigkeiten im Bereich Zirkus, Jonglage und Theater .
Wir wollen alle Leute zusammenbringen, die sich in Mitteleuropa mit Bewegungstheater, Zirkus und Jonglage bescvhäftigen. Wir wollen die Vielfalt und die verschiedenartigsten Möglichkeiten der Arbeit mit dem Körper und mit Objekten aufzeigen. Polen hat eine sehr große Theatertradition und es gibt dort viele interessante Theater, die mit dem Körper und Objekten als Ausdrucksart arbeiten. Wir glauben, dass man Theater und Zirkuskünste vereinen könnte Ð das Festival versucht diese Idee zu verwirklichen.Workshops:

Wir möchten auch Kindern die Möglichkeit geben an unserem Festival teilzunehmen. Nachdem der letztjährige Workshop für Kinder sehr gut angenommen wurde, möchten wir diese Tradition fortsetzen und Eltern und Kindern gemeinsam die Möglichkeit geben an diesen Workshops teilzunehmen.
Organisation:
Die Idee des Festivals ist es, dass die Teilnehmer Verantwortung übernehmen können, wie das Festival ablaufen soll, in dem sie eigene Workshops anbieten (Thema, Ort und Zeit sollten dazu am Main Board aufgeschrieben werden), in Workshops teilnehmen, ihre Wünsche und Ideen für Workshops äußern können und den Verantwortlichen helfen. Denn das Festival wird völlig ehrenamtlich organisiert und braucht für eine reibungsloses Gelingen, die Unterstützung und Hilfe möglichst vieler Teilnehmer.
Ablauf:
Am ersten Tag soll abends eine Open Stage stattfinden, wo Künstler ihre Nummern Ð seien es fertige Bühnenstücke, Teile einer Show oder auch improvisierte Einlagen zeigen können.
Am zweiten Tag findet abends im großen Zelt die Gala Show statt, zu der Zuschauer aus der ganzen Stadt kommen können: dort werden professionelle Künstler ihr Können präsentieren: Schauspieler, Jongleure, Akrobaten, Pantomimen und Clowns werden dort auftreten.
Während beiden Tagen werden Workshops angeboten.
Am letzten Tag werden die Jonglierspiele stattfinden. Anschließend wird eine Parade durch die Innenstadt zum Zentrum stattfinden, wo dann Straßenkünstler ihr Können zeigen.
Es gibt ein eigenes Zelt für Kinder und die Kinder werden im Anschluss an den Workshop zusammen mit ihren Eltern eine kleine eigene Aufführung zeigen. Außerdem gibt es Extra-shows nur für Kinder.Allgemeines:
